Revivial Post : 19 september Shelfing Training.

Today, after school we went to Marine Parade Library for our training for housekeeping which includes skills like sorting. Firstly we received a warm welcome from the presenter, Mr Koh, he gave us some introduction about the library and details on shelfing via a powerpoint. The theory lesson lasted around 1hour. Then, we were brought to the sorting room for a 'hands on' try out. We were given mainly three types of books to practice with: Toddler,Children and Adult books. The hands on were very important as it revised everything we had learned in theory. After one hour of trying outs, we were brought back to the presentation room and given a Question and Answer session. After that we were dismissed with our new learnt house keeping skills.
